Ezra frowns down at a different copy of of Mother Mercy's Sermon on the origin of Bonding Pacts, looking for anything that might hint at ways to break them.

"It could almost be a Jedi parable," he says out loud, thoughtfully. "Except, Force bonds aren't usually frowned on as inherently attachment that leads to suffering. Or...if they ever have been, I don't know about it."

He huffs. "I say, like I'm any kind of expert. Something like 30 thousand years of history, even if I had access to the Jedi Archives, and spent the rest of my life studying, I couldn't call myself that."
