Well, I agree with that conclusion. [It's already hurting Anakin. And the version of Maul that Ezra knew back home had used his Force bond with Ezra to walk himself right into death at Master Kenobi's hand. He can't see this version of Maul using a connection to Anakin much more wisely.]
