Ezra's sword hangs on his belt as well, albeit in the form of black and chrome lightsaber hilt, that may be less than obvious to the uninitiated. Today he is, as he almost always is, in a version of Jedi tunics, this set, brown and orange, meant to be something he doesn't mind getting dirty.
After floating a small pile of debris and dropping it, he stops to wave. "Hello! You wouldn't happen to be Cale's friend, would you?"
Lex himself is in the same clothes he had arrived in Amrita in, having not gotten to all his supply cache just yet, just the gear he had. So he's in a loose jacket over a long sleeve tunic and trousers below it. Plus, of course, his magic gloves and boots. It's a bit of a culture clash of eras, if one cared to examine it.
That said,
"I wonder if he'd go with the word 'friend,' but yeah, I was sent by the guy. I would take it you're the jedi in question?"
"Fair, I did use the word 'associate' talking to him," Ezra says agreeably. Cale strikes him as a person who has perhaps been, perhaps, conditioned by circumstances to think of relationships as purely transactional, when that is not his natural bend.
Or maybe Ezra is projecting there. He's aware that's a possibility and is prepared to be wrong.
And then sketches a quick bows. "Ezra Bridger, Jedi Knight, that's me. He didn't give me your name, unfortunately."
Lex's eyes were timed on the other as he did his introduction, and seemed ready to shake hands if that was Ezra's custom. When the jedi bowed, Lex opted to match the movement as well, though by some habit did so with a hand over his heart.
... He was still curious about what a jedi is. He looked at the guy's waist briefly, his eyes shifting to a purple color to seek out the 'plasma' sword. Huh.
But then responds, "Alexander Adams, though basically everyone calls me Lex."
Honestly, Ezra was just as happy to shake hands, but when he is being addressed as a Jedi - and he sort of feels like he is, here - he leans toward a bow.
"Then, pleased to meet you, Lex. And just Ezra is always fine with me," he replies.
He gestures around. "Is there a way you want to do this? I've got, um, telekineses like you just saw, for heavy and awkward things."
"A very convenient magic, that. Or well, I suppose that this Force isn't quite magic, is it?"
And it's fascinating ti can act upon 'dead' things like that, given what he learned of it back on Pandora's Fox?
"For my own part, my own abilities are going to amount to little gusts or forcing some water movement myself at best. So for the most part, we're looking at me picking up things by hand."
Ezra grins. "You've been talking to other Force users. That is the traditional Jedi stance, yes." He has thoughts - he's trying not to fully leap into an academic discussion off the bat.
"Only two, and both only briefly. The crash course I recently got was from..." ... Shit, that guy's last name stood out much more than his first, he's forgotten the first, "that Skywalker fellow. And then even more vaguely Darth Maul mentioned a few things months and months ago."
He opts to not mention that Cale had his own vague description of what Jedi were involving plasma swords. At least for now.
To the second part, Lex nodded and agreed. But to that end... Actually. "We should probably set up somewhere to put things on, unless we're content for them to decompose by the side of the rails."

Then he shrugs. "Nothing wrong with by hand."
