"... did she choose the memory or was it random?" Bail would not assume someone would willingly share something like that. If it drew from what was close at hand... His own might show the Temple.

Ezra frows. "I, uh, just kinda appeared in the middle of it. So I wouldn't say she had control, no."

"That would be too easy, wouldn't it?" Stars above knew that people wouldn't desire to share hardships. Bail knows he wouldn't wish that upon anyone.

"Basically," Ezra sighs. "Does that change your answer?" he checks.

“No. I would still have you choose as you would.” As Bail glances to him. “But I would not deny there would be some benefit on my part if you remained. Assuming things are not straightforward.”

"And as I said, I'm at your service. So I hope you're right about the benefit," Ezra replies, lightly.
